The Spirit of Prizm Construction

My name is Ron Maggio, I am the founder of Prizm Construction. I am passionate about building strong, long term relationships with my clients and construction partners. With intention, you won’t find layers of sales people, customer service departments, and project managers passing you off to someone else in the organization. You can expect my direct involvement from the beginning and clear communications throughout the process. Your ongoing feedback is critical to our success and it shouldn’t be heard through filters. A simple mantra is followed which has helped me through the years I’d like to share.

“Plan for the Worst case, Do your Best Work, Check the Results, and Act accordingly”

Thank you for considering Prizm Construction, I look forward to working with you.

Background

My name is Ron Maggio. I am a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida and the qualifier of PRIZM Construction. Since 2002, I have qualified more than 200 new construction projects totaling over $35,000,000. I worked on both the east and west coasts of Florida in Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Sarasota, and Charlotte counties.

My experience leading up to obtaining my qualification as a general contractor started in high school in the mid 90s working for my father’s then new home building business, RJM Homes in Wellington. My father taught me each aspect of the business as our company grew through various mentors who lead the company in their respective expertise. First, I started operating heavy equipment and building formwork for the concrete foundations and driveways. Next, my father and I built cabinets, installed trim, and gained experience painting. My uncle joined our team soon after and his background in trade negotiations became the backbone of my education in cost controls. I spent years in project management, purchasing, finance, and customer service before I became the qualifier of what was to become the largest division of our family’s company. I have a talent and passion for design details and can translate your vision to the architecture of the project.

I received my formal education through the M.E. Rinker School of Construction Management at the University of Florida in 1999. My last 2 years of school drew me down to Palm Beach county as I was actively involved in construction businesses. I graduated with a dual major in Finance and Management from Florida Atlantic University. I hold a real estate license in the state of Florida and my specialty here is in helping my clients find raw land or under-valued properties for investment of renovation.

There is nothing inherently wrong with companies running many projects simultaneously with large numbers of employees– surely it thrilled me to have a large staff when I wore a younger man’s clothes…But today, you get a relationship with PRIZM Construction. Better said by Bob Seager – I don’t want you to feel like a number. I endeavor to work one on one with you on your project to ensure I can exceed your expectations.
